Speaker's biographical note:

Bio: Mirosław Roman Dudek was born in 1956. He is employed as Professor at the University of Zielona Góra.
His main field of interest is nanotechnology: experiment and theory. He has experience in the methods
of statistical physics, computer modeling, issues of genetic evolution, and methods of DNA analysis.
For many years he was associated with the Wrocław science community, where he obtained a Ph.D.
in theoretical physics at the University of Wrocław (1986) and a habilitation degree (1998).
He moved to Zielona Góra in 2000. In the years 2008-2016, he was the director of the Institute of Physics
at the University of Zielona Góra. He was the supervisor of one Ph.D. in Biological Sciences and five Ph.D.
in Physical Sciences. He is the co-author of over 100 scientific publications. In 2020, he became
a state professor by the President of Poland.
